What is the best way to manage my mail and calendar on my new iphone?
Hi. I just got a new iphone and I would like to consolidate my home email, my web emails, my contacts, and my calendar to one place. What is the best app out there for that? Google’s Gmail or Itunes’ Mobile Me? I don’t use a Mac, so there is no need to sync to my home computer. The mobile me is $99 a year. I can’t quite tell if there is a cost for the Gmail apps. What do you current users recommend?
iPhone OS 4.0 will bring a unified inbox, better calender options, etc. Gmail would have only worked if you already have a Gmail account to begin with.
You can use Outlook to set up on the PC & then sync via iTunes though.

Planning to be a coach running?
I'll start my training for elders. I wondered if anyone know where I can create an application different profiles for each of my riders and be able to keep track of their time for each race. I would be coaching about 6 riders, because my job is to concentrate on the 400m runners. It does not have an application running, i guess a application where I can keep track of their time and additional notes would be great. Oh BTW, what is the best iPod touch app to keep track of my race? No GPS or Wi-Fi if you please, I do have an iPhone Please

I currently have an iphone which I love, but there are some interesting features the Android platform that I like for example the decline in notifications in the dropdown menu, and the fact that you can give specific notifications of own ringtone, also things like putting applications into folders is very useful. The iPhone will catch up in the new 3.0 update or can be done by these jailbreaking (I have not jailbroken my iPhone yet). I was wondering if I need to use iTunes at all, or if only I could update my iPhone using quickpwn2.2. If anyone has experience with this, Please let me know, because I do not want to go through the hassle of reloading all my apps Cydia and Installer.
You can not put maintenance of an iPhone with QuickPwn. All that does is unlock and jailbreak. As far as I know when you do update the firmware you would have to reload the Cydia / Installer applications. There were ways around this, but none worked in my experience.

How can you create an Outlook account on the e-mail iphone?
I try to set up the email account Outlook Windows App on iPhone email. Any idea how to do this? What is the outgoing / incoming host name and Internet address? What is considered username?
Hostnames incoming and outgoing calls are likely to be the SMTP and POP servers. In Outlook (depending on version) you go to Tools and mail accounts, select the account and click Properties or change. It should show you incoming and outgoing servers. The username is probably your e-mail, but could well be the name before the "@" symbol (but should be the same as the username in settings of Outlook). I'm not sure what he is looking for when you say the web address. An easy way to do this is to open Outlook for the mail accounts page I mentioned above and then either call AT & T Wireless or Apple support (I do not know who supports them, either Cingular / AT & T or if it's Apple).
